Surely if you price a window outside as £1 per pane. it should be the same in doors?

1.5X is a good general rule. It always takes longer and is a mission to do inside work. Then again if you need the work or it's raining it's what it's worth to you at the time!

so if you say £1 an external window on a monthly basis but the insides are done once or twice a year you would charge the same still??

9/10 times internals take longer than externals, i suppose it depends on the different type of jobs ....

If not done on a monthly cycle, the same as the outsides then i agree.

however, being a hotel, they probably would want it all doing monthly. My mum used to run a Travel Inn and they had their window cleaners do inside and out. However, that then did go National.. and then she left (not for that reason lol)

I used to do a Holiday Inn and that was either 2 weekly or 4 weekly can't remember. I did it for 4 years up till about 2001 and I only ever did the insides I think twice in that time. It was too much disruption for them as the hotels are trading all year and always have customers staying there.

I would charge 1.5 times.

If it's a busy hotel i would of thought they would get there own cleaners to do the bedrooms etc.
They may want a more regular clean on the lobby/main entrance windows and doors.

Good Luck..

I write into the quote that clear access is required and sills need to be cleared or they will be missed, doesn't half speed a job up when they don't clear it ;D so just charge the same as outside as they never clear nothing
