I was up at York today, North Yorkshire for a meeting at Sheppard homes. The tesco garage near the large university as you come off the dual carriageway was charging 129.9p for derv. Even though I was in a company car, I still had a warm feeling inside. :)

Why not half the duty on commercial sign-written vehicles. Then maybe we get a few more small businesses out there?

good to see people answered what i imagine was the most important part of the question ;)

and no i haven't yet. i've put more effort into making sure we are driving the most efficiently we can be with our weeks work and carry the least/most sensible amount of items in the van. it's helping keep fuel cost low.

Really? how long is your hair? I ask as Jeremy Clarkson worked out once that if you have a moustache you pay £45 extra per year in fuel for carrying the extra weight.

On further note, how come you are in the van if you only carry the most sensible? :P
