Leaflets
« on: February 23, 2011, 02:14:45 pm »
i put 3 flyers in 3 different doors on my way to my van after cleaning a customers house, i was shocked i had a phone call and got a very good customer, i thought my leaflets were not very good but i still had a customer pick up the phone and call me, this has made me think wow 33% return i must have been lucky,

but i wana re design my leaflet has anyone had good success with leaflets ? i have something in mind but would love get a few examples

I plan on doing a large leaflet drop, im based in sw london surrey ,does anyone know a company that will deliver large amounts of leaflets and skip terraces and flats?

would be great to hear from someone who does leaflet drops often.

IMO leaflets ARE the Modern way to build up a round!
2 points tho.
1. Good design with Landline and Mobile numbers on
2. Deliver them yourself. (you will be rang while you are in the same street. so you can give them an instant quote, and you know they ARE getting delivered.
My design just explains my service (advantages of wfp) AND Typical prices! works a treat.
Keep it simple and homemade!
Thats my opinion

Ive had a good success rate so far from my leaflets ive had 10,000 leaflets printed and distributed approx 1000 ive had 5-10 phonecalls from the flyers  all of them being £10 + cleans...

my leaflets are bright and colourful with my sales pitch in the bottom corner and then my prices on the left hand side then my mobile at the bottom next to Fenechs Marketing and the logo works a treat imo ive still got a good 8/9000 to deliver

thanks for replays, i would prefer someone to deliver them i have been in touch been told £20 per thousand but this is with 3 other leaflets,

i think i have the design sorted, but who would anyone recomend to drop them i think single dropping is better then with 3?

i would not be able to drop thousands of leaflets and do my current work so finding a good company is on top of my to do list, they guys i spoke to can avoid flats so thats good, but they charge £60 per thousand for single droping,

i just had 5000 business cards for £87 delivered from vistaprints,i delivered 470 of them monday when it was raining here, got 5 calls the same day got 4 new customers and 1 hasnt got back to me when i try to phone her tell her the quote,i delivered the same area this time last year and got 3 custys from leaflets,so at the moment they both working the same really,

so iv got 7 off the the leaflets/cards but picked up 9 more on same estate by people seeing me working, just goes show people either throw them away or dont like phoning,il deliver the same estate again next year aswell,in 10 year i might have the whole area  ;)

I think leaflets are more likely to not get lost rather than a business card through the door and a sign written van has always got me the most work.
Im not scared of heights, just falling from them.

yeh get what your saying but my thoughts were if you deliver a leaflet and the same house gets 1 or 2 other junk type offers through there door same day they are more lively to just screw all 3 up and never look at any, with a business card i would want to have a quick glance at it to make sure its not a card for a parcel that was delivered

I've delivered 1000 in the last 2 weeks 10 new custys following up by door knocking.I plan to pick a area and blitz it with 10000 leaflets and  then knock all 10000 hoping to turn into a extra 200 custys.approx 2k a month extra.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.
