Trolley System New

Hi guys, I'm looking to get a trolley system just to do the really awkward stuff on some residentials
and have a couple of questions.

Firstly, what is the best type of trolley-the fixed tank or the removable barrel type?

 Second, how many litres of water per window if the windows are all 6'x3' and have had a couple of cleans already?

Also, does any one have a trolley set up for sale?

i have carry two trolleys, one in each van and i find them useful sometimes.  i have a chassis in the workshop if you are interested all you need to buy will be a pump and controller..

The brodex one is realy good and holds 50 ltr. I got fed up with troll on one job and coustom built one that holds 80 ltr, 51 AH battr so can go a long time without charging. and above all has 4 wheels so no pulling back out!

as it for a few jobs id go with either xline or purefreedom - near enough the same sort of trolley.

25 litre barrels job done.

or a much cheaper option but not always the best option

try john hewitts site for a cheaper option like a backpack with a good handle to carry round those annoying places eg the blue esr16 is very good....

30 seconds to clean the window at a flow rate of 1.5- 2.0 litres per min = .75 litre (probably less)
The trolley is not flash but will do the job.
I have used a similar one for 18 months and still going strong.

thanks for that pure tech, i only need it to do about 60 hard to reach windows once a fortnight so think i should be ok with that plus a couple of spare barrels.
do you know if the barrel comes of or would i be refilling it from another one?

The barrell is fixed,I was looking at this trolly for the only reason it holds more,I have the Freedom Trolly as a back up but don't like changing barrells over too quickly but I think the shurflo pump is more powerfull,I would need to use the 35 litre one before I'd buy it.
If it's anything like their backpack with the red lid I will not be doing buisness with them as I have the 18 litre one and I can p1ss faster ;D

As mentioned, the tank is fixed but you soon learn to fill it to the level required for the job.
The 35 litre capacity is very useful for larger jobs.
I generally use mine on the lowest flow setting.

Thanks fella, i think i'm gonna give it a try ;D-got to be better then hanging over the top of a bay window with one foot on the ladder and one on the window bottom :'(
I've been on the ladders for 22 years but just took on a couple of rounds that are pretty good apart from these 60 top windows::) I've already told the custards that i'm not doing them again off a ladder and most said they don't blame me so not expecting the normal probs i hear of with the change over to wfp ;D
And who knows, if it does a good job maybe they'll ask me to do the rest the same way :P lol

Main thing i was looking at is the capacity, all these windows are on the front of terraced with a pavement from which i've been launching myself for the last 2 months over a garden wall and down stairs bay :o
Ijust decided the other day that i'm not going up there again ::)think it was when the guy came out his house and said"do you know that only one side of your ladder is on the floor?"
I Felt like saying "Do you realise i've been up here 5 mins hanging on to the window frame waiting for some one to notice? so stick yer foot on the bottom of it while i get down PLEASE"
I'm pretty sure most windy's have had this experience at one time or other ??? but I decided it was my last warning ::) WFP here i come :P

I know what you're saying Richard but i think for the outlay it would always do as a back up if i ever moved on to full wfp, after all any poles and brushes would still get used with a van system ;D
