Is this pole a decent one
« on: February 19, 2011, 10:15:24 am »
Hi im in stage of getting a wfp backpack setup, ive just bought a Shurflo backpack second hand for £85 now it's shopping for a pole. I thought this one looked half decent (but as im no expert) i thought id ask you for advice first, also if you think the pole is ok what brush on the listing would be best for a wfp newbie, heres the link thanks in advance.

you would be better off paying a little extra and getting a gardiners CLX pole

its hard to say, its personal preference, i used a dual trim mono for first cleans as it as more scrubbing power. but the DT flocked is gardiners best seller.

i use the DT Mono for both, but it is down to personal preference, the bristles are quite still on the mono brush, but i rinse on the glass so i can use the flocked for this. But the mono would be suitable for first and maintenance cleans.

if you don't want to spend much on a pole you can start with a harris pole from B&Q .i still use mine light and rigid and i added duck tape on the bottom section to help in the winter .it's only going to cost you £30 with all the connections plus the brush.

Not true at all.I've used mine on about 10 first cleans with better results than any superlite.
