i had the daughter of a customer  screaming at me her mum is old and forgets things, she was having a right go at me because her mum has three window cleaners the mum keep on hiring cleaners and forgetting.

i wouldn't mind but the daughter waited until i had finished to tell me that her mum didn't need me anymore while she was still screaming at me so i told the daughter striaght - its not my problem that your mum forgets things so if you don't want my services anymore thats ok but you need to pay for todays clean she didn't want to pay but she did in the end  ;D ;D ;D

never mind picked up two more jobs today one for £13 and the other for  £11 happy days  ;D

I'd tell the daughter she needs to look after her mother better then!
It's a game of three halves!

Respect needs to work both ways for me.

I would have moved the van and kept driving.

if it is dirty it is fair game

It is one of the benefits of being self employed not to take that kind of crXp from anyone. Same as previous replies, I would have got in the van and never gone back.

( cow) I would have put on a realy big smile while she was having a go and just as she took a breath asked her what is wrong to much caffine or not enough sex? with a gob like that I would take it to be the latter.
that realy would have got her goat up...

some guy threatend to pour petrol on me and torch us one day, I just smiled and walked away. wife was happy normaly I would introduce them to foot.
talking to a local farmer I know i told him about it, he said forget the £80 I owe you and I will sort it out! OK
two days later gets a call telling me to drive past @ about 11.00 so I did. there up the drive was the bigest pile of S**T I have seen in a long time, must have been a couple of ton and all steaming.
I phoned my mate to say debt paid and dont get in any trouble, he just replied why? he paid me £80 for me to drop a load of not my problem..

While the custie was well out of order, I do personally think its slightly bad manners to park over a driveway & always do my best to avoid it where possible.

Likewise.  I only do it if there are no reasonable alternatives.

I wouldn't be best pleased if someone parked in mine without my say so first. Why not show some respect and ask first?

Disagree with the above. If I asked for somebodys services I wouldn't bat an eyelid if they pulled onto my drive or over it.If I needed to get my car out I would go and politely tell them to move it.It takes some kind of bell end to come out and eff and blind at you.I wouldn't have done his windows after that if he got down on his knees and begged me.
