« on: February 11, 2011, 09:56:13 pm »
Evening again people.just been looking at a few vans recently and being a bit new to this i was wondering if you could help on a few things.I have seen this van on e-bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250770561656&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT  which looks very nice but was wondering if any of you have the same size van and is the size a good size (ie plenty of room ect)i will only be working for myself.and also i live in a soft water area so was wondering if the 4040 RO and filters were the right thing for my area.I have been trying to read other threads about different systems, filters, resin ect but still not sure how it works really ???.any help or pointers would be great .thankyou.

Ian, how soft is your water. If it is under 80 ppm you would not need to worry about an RO as a DI would be sufficient. At least for you'r first year or so and probably for ever.

PS. That van is a bargain and a half. Bite his hand off.

It will but only if it is over something like 80. For example, my tds is around 40 and I use about one bag of resin at a cost of £70 every eight months or so. Without all the hastle of an RO set up.
