I own one clx pole (not the 27ft) there very well made poles but my advice too you would be if you can afford a 25ft slx instead I would get that pole....Ive got 2 and there the best pole ive used....

I have one, its currently used for 90% of my work.
There are issues with the clamps coming un stuck but easily fixed with araldite, the barrel nuts on the clamps can strip their threads easily if you overtighten them.
Replace the hose with stream lite 5, the standard stuff is horrid.
It is quite flexy fully extended but not really an issue if using vertically once up, what I tend to do if I want the pole more rigid for over a conservatory etc. is not fully extend each section makes quite a difference.
Personally I've not used a slx but the price difference is considerable, all said and done including the minor niggles for daily domestic use its a winner.

Gardiners recently changed the pole hose so it is better than it used to be.

I have recently started using a clx 22 and have just ordered a clx 27, much cheaper than slx.

Will probably go for an slx 35 one day.

Go for the sl flocked 15 degree brush (scrubs better than the mono). I prefer it fitted with 3mm jets as opposed to the standard 2mm.

thanks for the feedback, based on this and other good reviews i've had about the clx i think i will buy it. In an ideal world i would have gone for the slx but the cost is too much but gives me something to work towards.

i bought the 22ft clx in october last year and ive got to say its a fantastic pole for regular domestic work.

very light

incredibly short closed length

fairly rigid  fully extended.

blows the fibre glass xtels clean out of the water!!use it with a supalite brush and itll change you working day for the better!!less strain and itll help you work more efficiently.

the 22ft allows me to reach over nearly all conservatories and flat roofs and i can even reach  some 2nd floor work! ;) ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!
