Any one done any thing like this, got to price on monthly clean, everything but top floor. Back and sides are straight forward, The front has glass balconies which need doing both sides of glass. I will have access to all flats, can anyone see any problems which could pop up?

I clocked this one earlier and decided to keep an eye out for replies. They are thin on the ground, which suggests that it is a tricky one and will probably cause a bit of head scratching and maybe even become a headache.

Back and sides are clearly straight forward, but the balconies and panels would be a pain.

The two things that spring to mind are (1) that it will be almost impossible to have have access to all the flats on the same day, even if you get it now and again, can they guarantee a regular monthly performance. (2) can you open both patio doors to access the panels. My guess would be that only one panel will slide leaving a hard clean for the second panel.

Whatever price you put in make sure it covers internal cleaning for the communal entrance and stair windows.

Set aside extra time for each clean, because if you need to go into each flat they will from time to time ask you to do inside, especially the patio doors. Be ready with a price or you will get lumped with, "can you just do this while you are here"

All in all it looks like a headache waiting to happen.

I would put in for £210 pcm , on the condition that it was a reliable monthly clean, any flats not open don't get cleaned but still pay. £350 quarterly. I would hope that would put them off.

Straight forward job, just put a note in the quote stating that you will give say a weeks notice before you clean each time, and then if people are out, its not your fault if balconies are missed, so you should still expect to be paid.

Has been agreeed to have keys available for each flat if the owner not in.
There are only 4 common parts windows and one door foyer at the back.
Both sides of patio doors slide, so thats not too bad.
Has been agreed to do once a month on set date. As the flats are  right on the seafront, there is talk of every 3 weeks, these really are luxury flats.
Insides are up to each individual owner.
I agree looks like a headache waiting to happen with those balconies, which is why i posted to get some ideas of any problems that could arise

Its been agreed for keys  to be left, if not, as you say balcony will not be done but still charged.

I just feel something ain't right with this one, not the people or payment terms. The building has just had total refurb including the windows. Just keep thinking I am over looking something before I put in my price.

its not just the glass to consider ie wheres the next job - how close? easy parking? how bad do you want the job?

a very very rough idea for price - going by the pic - try pricing at £1 per square of glass ie patio door has two squares of glass (hope that makes sense)

Its about 10 minutes drive, parking is fine, they have thier own carpark. Before I priced it, What I wanted to know if anyone could see any problems that could crop up.
