whats the diffence from cheap cloths and dear ones thank you

which ones in particular? if its scrims i used to always get the pre-washed you pay little more but they are almost good to go after a hot wash or 2 .

neil get  10 grade A pre washed unger scrim from the window clean centre or 10 unger large microfibres from the window cleaning warehouse.or both!

they ll last you years!!

i would also get 10 cheap towelling microfibres from the pound shop/aldi etc for sill cloths.

Microfiber is okay.Micro fiber cloth cleaners designed for optical components are disposable.

I prefer microfibre cloths to scrims. I used to use grade A scrims, which were OK when new, but once they started to wear thin would leave flakes on the glass, particularly when the weather was hot and dry. This problem doesn't occur with microfibre cloths, which also last longer.

ive just ordered a pack of 10 unger large microwipes from window cleaning warehouse.my other microfibres ive had for 2 years and are starting to not absorb the water as well as they used to.

i use both.a good scrim will always be better for detailing on a damp day IMO.

I agree, Dazmond.
You will go through a lot of microfibres on cold, damp days.
