Hi there, this is all new to me but here goes, just wondering im starting window cleaning and gutters etc with waterfed trolley (tryng something different to earn so doe)  anyway got fliers and all that done but not sure  with it being feb if it would be better to put them out now and do some canvassing or wait till march, april as i dont no if domestics customers would want them done until weather picks up a bit, dont want to canvass every were then have to do it again in a couple ov month, would be more exspence, any advice will be very appreciated as ive said im new to this kind of work cheers jay

Get out knocking doors asap. Knock and drop the flyers as you go. It is best to hand flyers to the people in person, but if they are not in just leave one in the letter box. Now is the time to get going big time.

Saturday is the prime time to canvass, as people are usually  at home. Be prepared to do the job there and then. Make sure you do a top notch job for the first clean, and charge a little more for the extra time.

Be sure that you know whether they are a one off job, or whether they will want you back for more. If you are doing soffits and gutters, get them to agree to have the job done the following year or six months.
