hi am struggling to improve my website ratings, basically it don't exist on any search engine.i have tried seo but it gets way to complicated    Any help would be gratefully received thanks

looking at the source code of your home page tells me "way to much code" where are the meta tags?

looking at the text on your site you are not using key words. Key words and phrases are what people would type in to find what they are looking for. You need to use key words and phrases like carpet cleaning in your area carpet cleaners in your area. etc. Where posible use these key words and phrases in the heading text and at top and bottom of page and also use them as anchor text. This is where you use that text as a link to another page about the subject ie carpet cleaning links to the carpet cleaning page or you may use carpet cleaners in your area to link to the carpet cleaning page. By using it as anchor text creates an internal link to another page of your website and re inforses that keyword or phrase so google will take more notice of it. Thats the theory i think anyway.

ok dont suppose they is any software that would help edit my site for me or does this have to be done manually by myself ?

Have you tried adding your business to Google places / maps? Can take a while to get up the listings though.

Like Monty says, you need to think of all the keywords with regards to your services, if you register with Google they have a neat tool that you can check against keywords, might have to register with Adwords on google to access though.

not all of them but some of the more popular.

I see you do oven cleaning like me, but you barely mention it on your site, I would seriously add a page giving some more detail, i've got a whole website devoted to it as well as several pages on my carpet website.

looking at what your site is made on the free google site maker. It can easily be done using that. You need to focas on the wording in the site more. I have used this free site maker and got on first page in google in our area

I see you have added text to your home page. Not what i would suggest as it does not look very apealing.
Quip tip...when someone goes on your website they actually decide to use you or stay on your sute within 8 seconds.
Looking at your homepage I don't think people will stay on it to long. The home page needs to be more apealing and give the reader something interesting to read or look at, thus making them click a link to another page, in turn this leads to more reading and clicking another link to another page then perhaps contacting you. I would advise that rather just listing words you try to write afew interesting paragraphs including the keywords and phrases.
PS the text you have copied from another site still contains links fro that site to sites in the US

I don't think that is needed. All you have got to do is write afew paragraghs of text about what the business does including words and phrases that people use when searching for this type of service. Include the area of which you service. Example... Carpet cleaners in "your area". Upholstery cleaning in "your area". Oven cleaning service in "your area". etc. If you cannot sort it ring me about 8pm tonite and I will perhaps come up with the text for you and sort out the home page for you. I gave your dad my number.
