Early Saturday for the Rhinoman
« on: February 07, 2011, 07:58:29 am »
It was breezy on Saturday, but we started very early and on a site where no public would be about.
Fairly low level, so only the Glyder pole was used.

Rhino, you must be the new 'matt bateman'

he posted some great pics of work  - but it seems to cause some resentment  ??? :-[

Hi

I think it would be really useful for all members to add pictures of what they are doing/using. The more the merrier.
It will make the forum so much more interesting, as people will see different things that maybe they have never seen before and hopefully ask questions that in return get decent worthwhile answers to.

I started in commercial window cleaning when I was 18, up in Bradford West Yorkshire. I sold a window cleaning company and moved to Bulgaria in 2004, where amongst other things I cleaned windows and sold Ionics stuff.
I am now 44 and started Purple Rhino in March 2010 and only went for commercial contracts - although once or twice I have been tempted to buy a domestic window cleaning round especially in the early days when we were just chasing contracts all day long (which we still do) I am glad I didn't buy any as for me they are too tying as we like to spread our wings and clean buildings anywhere.

We have cleaned this site for 8 months and believe me there is never anybody there on a Saturday. So no point wasting valuable poling time especially in force 10 winds!

Shocking pictures i must say. No helmets, no hi-viz vests, no safety goggles, no steel toe caps, no warning cones, no hazard tape, no salt, no ambulance, no life jacket, back doors left open that a member of public could walk into. Rhino your methods are shocking.  :o
