is this just a relaxation of the system whereby every indvidual working or in contact with children had to be checked.  im sure its not a complete removal of the crb standard system.

the fact that we crb all of our staff, irrespective of the sites that they are on, is a great selling benefit to our clients, that need to ensure that personnel on their premises are as honest as possible.

from what I've read it looks like it'll be no more for me any way which is what i should have said. crb checks are fine when I'm doing them myself, but this one site the check have to be done by the school, which takes ages. we've recently lost staff as the school took weeks to get the forms to us, then weeks to send them off, then waiting over a month for them to come back. now if i wanted/needed to i could hire staff and it only take a few days
