I don't think an open forum is the best place to advertise your 'find'

many years ago a friend worked for polygram and all old CD's were dumped at the tip and ploughed into
the ground - millions of CD's a year - however any1 found with them were liable to face prosacution - employee's
the waste contractor staff or the workers at the tip.

your new customer could lose his contract by 'giving away' these items

actually its not, if the items are in a refuse recepticle and not on their premises then its not stealing.
Although if you are caught selling any items you will get done.
Reaching parts traditional window cleaners can not reach.

The polls were surplus to requirements (they have all suffered some damage and therefore aren't saleable). The owner of the skip company simply wanted to pass them to someone who would find them useful. He DID NOT ask for money for them and no one including us has any intention of selling things on.

There is therefore no suggestion of stealing. Anyone who is saying otherwise does not know what they are talking about.

Exactly - they are all damaged in some way apparently but might be useful for getting spares off for our poles - certainly no intention of passing them on even if it were legal. No one else wants them so if this guy wants to give them to us for our own use there is no issue!

I reckon it probably the case of bad R&D. It should be a range of experienced wfp users who they seek for research. They should be asking what is required & not assuming what they churn out will suffice. The worst mistake they could have made is to have used suppliers for their answers!! With the exception of one or two, the rest really haven't a clue & I mean that literally! ::)

Yep, there's a few.

Selling is one thing, knowledge of what you're selling is another! :-\

I would think its unlikly to be illegal even to sell these on. Most skip companies of any size sell stuff on to reduce recycle and reduce landfill charges to them. Bricks and rubble for example are crushed and sold as hardcore, topsoil is sold on. Metal is sold for scrap, wood is sold on, cardboard, paper, glass etc all sold on. Anything to reduce landfill cost and make extra money.

waste of time mate!!who wants a big heavy unger wfp?they are too heavy, not very user friendly and your likely to give yourself an injury!!also you can get some decent  very light cheap poles like the clx that blow anything unger make( wfp wise!) out of the water for 150quid...ish.
