Hi, it all depends in which area you are in as for around here its as low from 50p per window to £1.50 per window.
I charge £1.25 per window for domestic and an hourly rate for commercial.
Hope this gives you some idea or even helps you.

we price all jobs based on time.

take what you want to make per hour then double it to allow for driving from job to job etc

I try to base it on £1 a window but if theres 2 small windows ill do the 2 for a £1, Georgian windows i try to get £1.50p as im traditional they take longer ive always got my price so i cant be far out.

its all very well saying £1 a window or £2 or even £3
dont mean anything on its own
how do you manage to check your profits
when you have already got customers on your round
you could work 70 hour week
or work phisically faster every day
its the same thing it dosent mean anything

Well charging what i do works for me,it's easy and ive done it before to under quote atleast if it's say £1 a window your not doing yourself.But i will say the more you quote for, the easier it becomes, as you can compare with others you do.

you are right past experience helps a lot and is important
but you still need something to work from for the future
as long as you put your prices up with inflation £1 a window
will keep you where you are for years
its a very simple plan and you cant expect to much from that
