Your website comes up blank Jamie. You should show a bit more detail about you and I'm sure some will help. I will if you can do that.

Guys

if you copy stuff then use

http://thebestspinner.com/

this will change it so much that it will not be a direct copy. it also helps when you are using articles as backlinks to your sites. This works like link directories except much better. lots of article directoroes like

http://ezinearticles.com/

google rates some of these as good links

if i asked "could i borrow your orbital sander?" you'd probably say yes. (providing you had one that is)

if i walked into the garage and took it you'd be rather pee'd off.

now ive put it that way!

FM ian, the running costs of your business must be astranomical, every link you put up costs mega bucks.

How much is a one way backlink worth to you? If you put 100 articles up over a year all with different link text back to your site the investment is paid for. Now if you had more than one site the investment gets cheaper with each one

Best Spinner is only about eighty dollars a year and in my opinion, is the best there is out there because it also exports in different syntacs.

I'm amazed you submit spun stuff to Ezinearticles though Ian. Did I mis read that?

Here's a FREE spinning tool. It's not quite as good as BestSpinner but it does a good job and is great for simple spinning.

You could start by taking some picies of your work ie before and after so you can show  when you go to do a quote or even when your with cleints.

I put letters of praise from clients and also complinment slips from my commercial work and alsosome  large high street companys i have done some cleaning for.

Hi Jamie

Its a photo album type and i just filled it up over a year with picies and leters and sometimes i used to get thank you cards too..You will build it up over time mate..Prob about ten pages..

You could even take some picies of your van and machine at work etc.

I don't know why your need a portfolio, do they actually look at it? I just go and dazzle them with my personality :D :D

most the commercial quotes I do are a walk through of the job, never really any time to look through a portfolio.

if anything i would make an A4 tri-folded brochure with everything a portfolio would have then leave it with the client to peruse when they have more time
