Gardiner slx

I bought 1 of these poles and its basically falling to pieces any1 else had this problem iv only used it for 6 weeks

No, I've had mine over 3 years & it's had some right abuse. No problems with it yet.

What's up with yours?

clamps have come of and now the metal head on the top pole spins round, contacted them and they wernt interested.

Strange one that, doesn't sound like Gardiners, you sure you got the right number? ;D

Anyway, 2 part epoxy resin (you'll get from Halfords) or Araldite will do the trick. It's not that uncommon for a clamp or even the end thread to come unstuck now & then on any pole. ;)

Daniel, all the dealings I have had with Gardiners has been excellent.

Reaching parts traditional window cleaners can not reach.

14 months on a 18 SLX - top pole no wear at all , the old gray 18 ft xtels only lasted a year with me max.

clamps all still stuck ,  id buy another when this one die's

also not had a neck or back trouble since getting one

Mine did the same

Bit of  araldite good as new ;D ;D
