You get very little from it but it does make you look more professional and i am finding that i am getting a few people  paying me though it saving them sending me cheques  and me getting paid quicker .More and more people are using the web so i think it`s the way to forward .I only pay £65 a year  so its not really costing me much  money . ;D ;D

not enough to worry about .  mines a vistaprint one, cheap, looks good and good ranking but could have raked in far more by a spot of door knocking

if it's for growing the biz then it does not bring in that much in percentage terms to knocking,

however it has brought in several big jobs - both commercial and domestic and paid for its self time and time
again - cant ask for more than that

I find you can't beat the good old fashioned knocking on doors and word of mouth. I get quite a few leads from word of mouth.
I haven't got a website yet but defo thinking about it tho but it will be a free one . Like other windies it seems the way to go even if it brings in a few jobs.

Websites are just another tool in the customer grabbing portfolio. Door knocking is undoubtedly faster, but websites are the least effort for the return,.. just sit back & wait for the custies to call.

I've 3 websites at the mo,.. working on a 4th.
