Hiya mate, its been on and off here all day but I still went out to do a conservatory roof and gutter clean.
Also a few windows this afternoon. Still managed 80% of my normal day though. Still 5 days left in the month so I'm not worried.

Drizzle started about 11.30 and got steadily worse and I did houses I knew the owners would be out until about 2.30 when I judged the rain to be too heavy.

I don't like getting wet and only work in straight-down rain (or light showers) up to medium intensity. But with my "rain guarantee" and this policy of working custies are ok with it.
It's a game of three halves!

stayed dry as well due to goretex boots and jacket.it was a bit worse than was forecast as it was big heavy downpours at times!!i just got on with it!home and dry now.

you gota work in the rain guys,

its when you completted 5 working days in full rain that you know you got a good round.
these days i always wish it would rain so i can filter out the ones that moan faster i just say "rain does not effect cleaning process", it only helps with the rinsing!

Worked all day in the rain after the winter we,ve just had a rainy day is just another day, we just tell the customers now if we get any problems with us working in it, RING SOMEONE ELSE THEN, at the end of the day your running a buisness and you cant do that by sitting at home getting curtain disease.
A bad days fishing is better than a good days work !

just got back to work after 8 weeks off....first 4 weeks being the snow we had and then 4 weeks holiday...

I have now decided that work will be worked unless the wind threatens the finish or winds combined with heavy rains.

I think for the most part most of us 'tell our selves' that working in rain is 'not cricket'.

Invest in decent work-wear and half the battle is won...invest in some decent Gortex or similar product...and you can crack on and earn.

Cheers
Dave.
