non purified water through system

hi all just a quick question can i run non purified water through my system or will it contaminate the system
i am only asking as i am coming near the end of setting up my system and want to test it all for leaks ect and do not have the R/O yet also i had muck in my ibc so had to pressure wash it out cheers an advance mark

It will be fine many of the wfp system builders test them out with tap water. Just empty all the tap water after testing.

how about the bit that will be left in the bottom of the tank will that be ok cheers mark

Yes it will not be noticeable when you have a full tank of pure,

and anyway , the systems are not set up just for pure water,

pumps are used for caravan showers and various other things,

water is water.

hi slumpbuster
i have fitted a 750l tank in a swb transit sectioned van off in 2 half's
just the 1 pump at the moment but have the option of adding another as i have had my van port's made up with 1 extra output.
just the 1 reel at the moment but will get another
also looking to make/buy trolley/backpack.

not finished yet but getting there

and i am new to this so my first system

its getting there slowly just got to wire in the varistrem, pump, & battery
cut another hole for pole and build some kind of shelves above tank.

you can syphon exess water out tank if you dont want to leave in.
