I read on gardiners that a 10" should last 2-3 months and an 20" 3-5 months, so it would be due now.

That is a good question, I know the Ionics ones are supposed to be changed every 100,000 ltrs (I think)

On other systems most people don't meter their water going through their tanks so it's hard to judge when to change them.

Generally I change both the carbon and particulate filters on our 20" system every 6 months, I bought this set off ebay which is a cracking bargain, and much cheaper than any window cleaning supplier I could find.

they do look good value ian, i paid £20 plus postage last time for just 1 of each.

Do they seem to be good quality filters?

They're excellent, exactly the same as the ones I had fitted before, I fitted the first set last month along with a new RO that was 6 years old and the water is going into the tank at 002ppm from 187ppm, making around 85 ltrs per hour.

Like you I was paying £20 for each filter before, no brainer really.
