Good at ground level. Useless when the pole is up, which is a helluva lot. That would do my nut in. Far easier with an A-D.

Why though? Do you really go to hassle of turning on and off between EVERY window? By the time youve pulled it you coulda just gone on to next window.

I do all tops first bring it down, do downs and then turn off to go round back and so on.

Besides i still have my rectus 21 coupling if its up and i wanna switch off which not far from the pole end when its up.

The time to pull takes a blink of an eyelid if that. I turn off for every single window and sometime between top hoppers and lower panes. Also when walking around or when looking around or when talking to someone. It is good mate but again useless at height, it just wont save any water at all.

Wasnt having a dig lol...to me pulling that on and off would personally do my nut in, no way would i do it between every window. I suppose i do flick it on and off alot on lowers and when custies come or untangling the hose from the wheelie bins etc lol etc.

Does save a bit of water. Its just the convience for me  ;)

Sensai,  nice job mate, but in the long run the AD is far better due to being able to turn off
at height, it's not just turning off between windows altho, by the end of the day it all adds up but being able
wipe upper sills without the water still running and to intantly turn water on only when needed - i use fans and
high flow so if i have to extend up and over a conny or extension water is wasted while getting into position.

if the AD did not exist - then thats where i would have a tap.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience
