card payment transaction consoles

well had a customer last week ask whether i do the card console transaction does anyone do this and how much does it cost and all the crack about it or is it easier to do a bacs transfer with them ta alan

Cost a fortune to buy, the monthly rental + percentage of transaction.

So is bacs better? in a word YES

I use mine a lot.                  

And its 80 a quarter,  + a charge per transaction.

2.5% for credit

30p for debit.

I think, not sure, not at work, about that though.

Similiar to PayPal.

Might make a few enquring phone calls this week.

Do your custards give their details out over the phone for you to process payments?

Paypal do a virtual checkout and the customer doesnt need to have a paypal account and you can do it from any internet phone.. ;D

Nice link Mr B , been looking for one for a bit as we also do carpet cleaning where we doing bigger amount's per job than window cleaning .  :-*

They also wont release 50% of the funds for 60 days... the money you take on day 1 you get the 50% back on day 61.... i know this because i went through the hassel of setting it up which was a complete pain in the arse and being told once it was ready that thats how it works.

worth looking into as for me a S.A.E with a 30p stamp on is about the same cost - then you got to wait for it to come

Theres a new app just come out for the iphone which im thinking of getting as its £10 a month..
