i use a backpack and am looking for the quickest way to transfer pure water from 25litre drums in the back of the vehicle into the backpack without having to lift the containers out.
cheap syphon pumps. hand operated are available or 12v pumps from caravan retailers at around £20. these are supposed to transfer 10l a minute.
anybody use such a system?

I do this every day, I just stick my hose in give it a quick sook and then plunk the other end in my backpack....easy as that.
