had to laugh at a customer today, been cleaning her windows for over 3 years, never had a problem and today after cleaning i called back to collect my money and she tells me she doesn't want me anymore as she has someone else, she says she thought I wasn't coming back as im late!
I just smiled and said i'm late due to losing a lot of days in december with the snow and then christmas on top. are some people not right in the head?

i've an idea who will be doing it , everyone else on the street is fine though, good news is this was only worth £7 and yesterday i picked up 3 new ones totalling £35.00,  just need to find time to do them as i already have enough customers.

Yeah I do most of the street and it would be good to hear her asking for me to come back. Give it 6 months when she realises what she's lost, Haha. Would you always say no if a customer asked you back after ditching you?

I just lost my first moron of the year, she was last cleaned on the 8 Dec, 3 weeks later no payment so my wife sent her a payment reminder, a week later (this week) she emailed me saying she wasnt happy with last clean so didnt pay me (she emited to tell me that but there you go) and asked me to come and reclean them. I replied in email with appologies but with lack of notice that she wasnt happy I couldnt inspect dirty windows 4 weeks after a clean what with the severe weather weve had lately so with appologies asked her to politely pay amount owed and I extended a 25% discount on the next clean (thought that was fair to be honest although that went against the grain to give that much to her) she replied with email saying not acceptable to her please cancel window cleaning , no mention of payment either

I got my own back a little bit on one customer who was a messer and I dropped a while back. When getting paid by her neighbour some time later the neighbour said "have you not done over the road yet?"

Just on the spur of the moment I said no, they have got money problems and gave her that nudge nudge sort of look.

Her face was a picture, pure delight but only for a second. Enough to let me know that will be all round the Close in no time. She's the gobby one who wants to know everybody's buisness. Thats why she asked me why I hadn't done over the road in the first place.

In a previous life I would've advised slinging a whole load of carpet tacks all over her drive.

yeah pretty sure i know who it is, i'm not the sort who normally takes on customers if they already have a cleaner but this sort of thing makes you think you might as well
