i was all for going out but then i felt a bit rude as people are still seeing as part off the christmas break so i thought i will wait til tomorrow, i would work as normal if it was just a normal bank holiday

I don`t think so. If they do, they`ll get over it.
You could tell them they can pay you for not cleaning them. That way, you get home earlier and you still earn. Some of them are getting paid and not working.

I'm off to the workshop this morning, get the vans started up, check equipment and stock in each van and sort out rounds for tomorrow.

Basically at the moment we have just about everything due as the last real work we did on the windows was on 9th December!!

I started back last Tuesday. Apart from a couple of 'not todays', it was alright.

I will be going out at around 10:00 this morning. The custys I am doing today will be pleased to see me.

i just got one shop to do in the local shopping centre at four and thats it, dairy for jan is all sorted so im going to get the van cleaned inside and out and sort equipment out for tomorrow, enjoyed the xmas break but god im looking forward to get back to work

I worked last week, 3 days. I hate working knowing my lads are at home eating mince pies whilst on full pay. ha ha

We never work bank holidays though, I have to give them 28 days holiday a year and bank holidays count towards that so better having them off than risk upsetting the customer.

outside of a comercial i normally do on saturday morning for access reasons had to do some repairs to eqiupment over weekend so it was good to check my repairs! lol back 100% tomorrow

I ended up doing a commercial job this afternoon that has to be done out of hours.  I was going to do some domestics too but just didn't fancy it in the end.  There was a light dusting of snow starting as I began the job.
