help booster pump on r/o unit
« on: December 22, 2010, 06:52:04 pm »
Hi Guys,

i have been looking on the net for a ro/di unit also taking into account you guys having problems with the big freeze.

so i have found this.

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/ro-systems/hydro-cart-petrol-engine.html

i would just use it at home to fill 1000l ibc then transfer to van.

advantages
1 it could be bought in during bad weather
2 i can fill up 650l tank at my sisters or mums who are not on a water meter anywhere
3 if i do land myself any big jobs it is there to use

i think i can make it at a fraction of the price
sack barrow £40
ro/di about £500
water pump £250-£500
all i am not to sure about is the pump pressure i have found a few pumps online and i am pretty good with a welder so i think i could make it for less than a grand also not sure weather to use petrol or 12v or 110v pump but 110v pump is harder to find

any advice would be great cheers guys
