Whilst sitting in my local Weatherspoons enjoying a Xmas Ale this afternoon....snow and minus temperatures force me to do things I dont like sometimes, two fellas started to clear the pub garden of snow and ice. I asked them if they worked for the pub, no they said, they worked for themselves as snow clearers.  I asked them (cheekely) how much they charged and they said £80.

So tomorrow if the weather is still the same in Exmouth, I will be offering my services as a snow/ice cleaner to shop fronts in my town.  A bag of rocksalt is £7 from Dewsons, with that and a shovel my services will be on offer for £4-£8 a shop front cleared to the kerbside.

Just thought I would share that window cleaners skint before Christmas an wondering what to do about it.
