Richybuy yourself an iphone ( there are better smart phones available) and do the admin as you work, then sync it to your cloud so it is always with you.At end of day forward on to accountant or just let him collect direct from your cloud.Technology is the way to be organised and save money if you are a bit "lazy"A wee tip though the lazier you are the money you lose Gordon
I wouldn't store info like this in a phone. Whatabout if you lose your phone or have it stolen etc. Its only good if you can back everything up via a pc or on a disc etc.
Richy, get your self an A4 ringbinder file, put 13 plastic wallets inside, put a label on each wallet eg - April 10 through to Apr 11. As you get receipts throughout that month - fuel, supplies, stationary, expenses, etc just put them in the relevant wallet. Even if you don't have time to organise your accounts each month it makes it so much easier at the end of the tax year.
Its my opinion Form!!! All mine is stored in my head so no phones to worry about, no scraps of paper to lose, yes my receipts, invoices, etc are stored in a shoebox in 13 envelopes. I do have a diary too. My tax form will be done online before 31st January too. I'm not quite as bad as the poster of this topic but not much better either!!!!
