Not reccomended in any weather!!
« on: December 20, 2010, 05:45:51 pm »
Don't shut your finger in the van door - especially when its fully shut to and you have to use your other hand to open it and let yourself out !!

It's now blacker than a blind cobblers thumb !!  :-X :o :( >:( :'(

Still, got too much snow lying on ground and still the odd flurry of it to get out of our road so can't get to work anyway.

We had about 10 - 12 inches of it saturday and it aint going anywhere et the mo.

Main roads got lots of abandoned cars on too so packing in 'til new year now.

Have a great Christmas and happy new year to one and all !!

I did that once, and thought I would put up with the pain , it got so bad after a couple of hours, I had to go to hospital and get me thumbnail injected to release the pressure.

I'm such a comfort ;D

Thats what i was worried about but this was last thursday and got thru that night with liquid painkiller ( red wine ) and some ibuprofen.

throbbed a bit but was ok but looks like I'll lose the nail in a little while.

Had a mate who had the hot needle thru his  so i was dreading that, i got to be honest.

I used a new 2mm drill bit, didn't use the drill though, just turned it slowly by hand until it was through. It didn't hurt much to be honest and I saved the nail.

Had the hot needle once, was ok, and by the way it was a paper clip and a lighter, and that was in the hospital.
