Going back to the thread "How long until your established"

You have a large domestic and commercial round and countless industrial contracts but only turnover £75k?

In april 2011 my accounts will show a turnover of £52,000 with a gross profit of £31,200 off one domestic round with one van.

Just seems alot of work for only £20k more than i should have

Regards
Danny

more ar less yes thats correct... you seem very intrested all of a sudden pal..

il add to it.... the 75k is not every year, i did say if things go well, and also i made just over 50k with 2 vans. iv only just got my 3rd van. iv always had a van in london and one in south wales... 1 man i london... me in south wales and the 3rd will split as and when, and the year i made a turn over of 75k was in 2009 with just 2 vans, so you should be very clear now......as for my clapped out escort van, i beleive you should stick to your motobike pal.... i seen you on the kingsway last week, your van is poor and you need to stop cleaning windows which are smashed, its not good for business. sorry did you think i din know who you were!!!

Im only interested because turnover wise im not that far behind you and im a much smaller business....

Another thing that im suprised with is the amount of turnover you have from working in london where prices and cost of living are much higher than here up north.

Theres nothing wrong with having a escort van. I had one and it did its job

My business is more on the quality side but i know cleaners who charge more than me. I used to rely on quantity but my pricing was lower now i push for quality at a higher price.

Danny

well thay cant be paid that well your turning over 75k which must be included vat has turnover is inclusive so take 17.5% off and a wage and a half and business runiing costs it seems like they work for free or your not being straight?

and then you say that was last year so once your registered for vat its difficult to de register so you still have top pay the vat even if turnover is £55k

I have no doubt this amount of work can be done with two i would actually say more could be done
but the profit sdoesnt add up.....proberly just something iv missed
