We are trad too. We get screenwash concentrate and mix it 1 to 10 or we get readyixed to minus 30 and use it 50/50.
The water MUST be cold though. In Krautland we tend to get colder air temps than UK. So we always work with cold water.

Yes the water needs to be as cold as possible. Wind will make some difference too. Shop windows are cleaned using the 1/4 method. Clean a quater of the window at a time. Top right first, then bottom right second, top left then bottom left, if you see what I mean. A shot of fairy or GG3/4 or whatever you use needs to be in there too. Not too much though as suds freeze faster than water.

i use lukewarm water if possible with a few good glugs of concentrated screenwash and either gg3 or squeegee off.i hate the blue dye and smell of screenwash but it keeps me earning!!i try and keep my hands away from the stuff and wear gloves!!i dont think screenwash is that good for us somehow!! ;) ;D

i soap one window at a time with extra water than i would normally use and squeegee it off straight away to minimize freezing.if it still freezes then its time to go home IMO.
price higher/work harder!
