Advice on getting started
« on: December 17, 2010, 09:35:33 pm »
Hi all, just wanted a bit of advice on getting started. :)

Looking at starting up window cleaning with a friend in the new year, but think im getting a bit mixed up with the whole process and what is needed for an RO wfp set up.

We have the traditional stuff already to go. But what will be needed for the wfp? Should we be fitting a tank in the van with all the RO filters attatched, fill the tank in the morning through the filter with tap water, turning it to pure water(obviously) and away you go for the day. Or put the tank and RO filter in the garage and filter it and store it in there, then use that water to fill up multiple water containers and use a mobile trolley/back pack system?

Thanks for your help.

If youre just sarting out just go with the trad gear and see how you get on, then if youre picking up work and its going well working with someone invest in more equipment then, you dont have to clean windows with wfp, just make sure you have public liability insurance, doesnt cost to much mines about £120 a year.
Im not scared of heights, just falling from them.

Were starting a business, carpets are going to be the other half of the business.

Just not sure of the best course of action for starting the windows? Window cleaning seems the best way to get constant work coming in.
