Solar Panels
« on: December 15, 2010, 07:26:16 pm »
I have been asked to quote cleaning of solar panels but not sure what to expect, it sounds simple enough but have been bitten before, They are the flat type not tubular.
Has anyone any experience of this? I am told access is ok, it sounds simple enough but not sure how they will react to our brushes.
Also how do they compare time wise compared to glass?
There is 3500 square metres of them.

Do you know the age of them ?

modern ones are easy and clean up as quick as glass,  the older ones are fiber glass and not very smooth,

you will need a firmer brush for these and even when cleaned still don't look very good - and they take 3 times
as long to clean.

Never argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level, and beat you with experience

They are brand new so that makes it simpler, thanks Smudger.
