window cleaning pays the bills( when it is not freezing ), but it doesnt give you much job satisfaction ! What other business interests do you have that give you a bit more excitement ?

scrap metal,chatting with someone the other day,hes making thousands
house removals and might start doing some landscaping again!

window cleaning pays the bills and leaves me with a fair whack for bad weather days  and holidays/clothes/new equipment etc!!

i dont have time for other businesses!my business is cleaning!!and i love it most of the time even when its snowing i can at least get out for a few hours work usually.

i make all the money i need to have a reasonably comfortable life!!

i cant ask for more than that really in these harsh economic times.

My new business is in property development

I am going through the process of selecting a name and arranging finance.
Its the best time to buy property if the banks will lend and im not far away now from meeting certain criteria.

I didnt pursuit the construction business because of low profit margins and suicide bidding but then i realised the developer is the one making the largest profit.

Its in its very early stages and will probably be 12-18 months before i make a decent profit but it will be something i will enjoy doing and im looking forward to the challenge but i dont think i will give up the window cleaning unless i have too

I was on the verge of starting up in wedding photography, done a few friends and family,  but window cleaning's SO easy and stress free that I couldn't justify it. (apart from when your van's axle deep in snow and you have a 650ltr ice cube in the back)..

Does that involve council contracts or do you just send your lads out wherever you wish?

St helens has got a private company doing the traffic enforcement and they are raking it in. They got me about two months ago £35 fine but they are traffic wardens ive never seen clampers around here...
