advice please
« on: December 12, 2010, 02:13:22 pm »
hello,
wanted some advice please.

i've built a small round off houses ( only 30 houses) from asking previous customers (people i've done plastering for over the years).

was looking on expanding on this (by canvassing or advertising) to be 1 or 2 days a week work and either hiring someone or getting a self employed window cleaner to do it.
whats the usual way of paying someone self employed in this industry?
1.set wage  2. x amount per house 3. set wage plus fuel or is their a differnent way.

lots more questions, thanks for any help
dan

just take about 30% of the overall...30 quid for every tonn, although i wouldn do it for that low %, but im sure someone local would for a few extra quid
better than all the rest

I was also thinking about this option? So for say, £1200 worth of work per 4 weeks, what would you expect to make off it by renting it out? Also do they supply their own tools, transport and fuel??
