I've been asked to clean some Kitchen floors in a cookery school on a two monthly basis. The floor is a safety type flooring. I was thinking I will need a rotary but, I would like one I can use on all sorts of surfaces. (ie carpet as well). I don't plan on doing much in the way of commercial work but you never know what will come along. I don't know allot about rotarys so am wondering what to get? Would appreciate your advice.

Rob things to consider if buying second hand if it dosent come with a drive board theres another £70
Also your pads for carpets will cost £20 each +

The tank on the link above are handy about £100 you could put some citra concentrate in that and clean that kitchen floor a treat. will cut through any grease in the kitchen with a green or red hard floor pad.

Buy a soft poly brush to go on that machine, fill tank with warm microsplitter, then spray/ aggitate the carpets all in one. Just pinch a clothes peg on the hose to restrict the flow a bit.

I was taking to Altro today and we were discussing how they are recommending rotowash machines for maintenance of their floors.

I have used a similar machine (multi wash) with good results.

It could be used for agitation and pile lifting on carpet.

You wouldn't be able to bonnet clean with it though.

The option to add weight to the Numatic is handy though as theyntend to be a little lightweight in standard form but would make loading and unloading easier then add the weights to start work,

The more head weight and slower speed the more productive it will be for cleaning tasks.

I had the multiwash on a demo from truvox very good machine.
But i ended up with the rotowashR4 a better machine IMO

Rotowash is excellent for hard floors and for aggitation on carpets.

How does the rotowash compare to the Envirodry for carpet aggitation?

Never used a Envirodry.
