its not too bad in south wales in the day so brought everything in, in the night, 2 reels, 3 poles, 2 resin barrels and ro. the only thing i have to do is boil a kettle and defrost the pipe that comes out of the tank, and hair dryer the pump, as no amount of insulation is working.
anyway filled van back up and defosted everything, then dropped one of the resin barrels which had a 1/2" pipe connector from the pump and broke the female jg connector and didnt have any replacements.
drove to 3 different plumbers and the nearest size is 15mm, so the only thing to do is change all the pipework, had some help off one of the employees, and changed it all to 15mm pipes and elbows and connectors etc.
bit of a scary moment pulling the old pipe work out the bottom of the tank and 650 litres of water trying to escape, got the new bit in but managed to cross thread it, retried again and got it in and no leaks.
all in cost about £25, and took 2 very stressful hours, had loads booked in and would have easy got my 10jobs/£200 quota in, so a bit gutted. (only managed 1 1/2hrs)
going to change all my pipework to standard, easy to obtain fittings soon, as dont want to go through that again. does anyone else have 1/2" piping? ive got from the resin barrels 3/8" blue tubing which im going to change as well.
also finding its taking 20mins to defrost outside tap with loads of kettles, nightmare!!
