Christmas tips(translated)

As above. Here is my translation of Xmas tips :-)
£1 The customer thinks "if everyone gives him a quid,he'll do well"
£2 See above.
£5 The customer thinks " I don't wanna really tip him,but I guess I better give him a beer for all his hard work." and cringes as they close the door on you.
£10 The customer really does appreciate you and genuinely likes you and wishes you a warm and hearty Christmas full of Good Cheer.
£20 The customer respects the fact that you work your arse off all year round and legitimately takes their hat off to you for being a grafter and not a sponger. They want you to have a turkey for the family on them or a night on the razzle, courtesy of them.
£50 She wants ya body.
Merry Christmas and god bless us, each and every one :-)

My last years tips worked out at £1 per customer so I must be a "he'll do"

So far about £100 plus 2 bottles of wine not cheap stuff and 2 boxes of choccys
but alot don't bother. My main prob is most of my wages come through the post.

thats is very true mate, in fact one lady said yesterday i know its only a £1 but if everyone paid it it would add up
and then another today , £5 job, she had a tenner and i genuinely had no fivers on me as all other jobs said keep the change so had none, so she begrudgingly said keep the change for xmas then??
oh thanks
but made about £20 today in tips in 4 hours work not bad, im not really expecting it so am pleased with anything

I refuse them all. Tell them to spend it on their own family/ children or grand children. This is true. I also quite enjoy it when they insist. Then I know what I want to know. I have not always done this but in recent years, it's just how I am.
On a separate note. I enjoy collecting. I may not know their names or phone number even though I have been doing them for over a decade or more, but consider collecting my preferred choice of customer relations. It's the life blood of my income and also......in a business sense, quite savvy.
