is it me or

Every time I try to open a message on here it takes an era.
Then one will open straight away when clicked.
Even when entering the site the home page takes a while sometimes.
It's not my connection 'cos all other sites open immediately.

Needs sorting as will only get worse.

Same thread t'other day and one of the posters checked and said CIU was running on very out-dated software.

Hi Guys

My first post, great forum! We are finding it very slow, but I put that down to where we are, maybe not! We are using internet Explorer, my wife says ask if someone is using another browser which is quicker?

I am on Google Chrome which is faster then Internet Explorer IMO.

This site is still slow though.

I can open say 4 posts fast, then the next one takes ages. 
So much so I go on another forum and read a few posts on there till CIU has caught up. 

Sometimes I just shut down and get on with life.  ;)

Yip, plus it also might be the hosting thats at fault or a combination of the two as i said in the other thread.
Higher CPU on the dedicated server. I wouldn't think a forum this active would be on a shared hosting packages.... but if it is then thats the problem.

I wont say it but we all know what we should be doing to generate the site some more money for better hosting!! wink wink  ;) (bottom of the page!)
