Some relief at last.
« on: December 04, 2010, 12:04:10 am »
Sir Bob Geldof is planning to release a charity record in aid of starving window cleaners. Due to recent adverse weather conditions, we haven`t been able to work and so food is scarce for most of us.
I contacted Sir Bob (he insisted I call him that  ::)) and told him of our plight and asked could he do a Band Aid type single to raise funds.
Sir Bob was extremely concerned and agreed to help. He is currently trying to get musicians to back the idea.
He has also appeared on tv asking the public for donations. Urging them to "give us your f***ing money" and telling them "window cleaners are dying out there".
Money is pouring in already and the first food parcels have arrived from Addis Ababa.
There is hope......

We could call it WFP AID  that's (We're Feeling the Pinch)
a re release of our window cleaning anthem by George Formby could be on the cards a cert to be the x mas n0 1, I can feel a movement stirring  :-\ could just be those beans on toast.
