RELIABLE FORCASTS
« on: December 01, 2010, 07:06:07 am »
Well it feels a lot colder out there than it did yesterday, trying to make my mind up as to what to do today.
My work for today is 25 miles away, I have looked at various hour by hour forecasts most of them different as far as temperature forecast, they are giving out forecasts
for 10am from +1 to -6 which ones can you trust?
I don't fancy driving to Llandudno to freeze up, I can do that here.

Dai...for me I use the Dutch local forecast but with that I search out the personal weather stations that people have at their houses ....such as http://weerstationoss.nl/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=81&lang=en

There are literally hundreds of these around the country and in the UK too...they at least give you exact local temps..

You can then get an idea of what the weather is and in particular the wind directions...from this find other weather stations in those directions and you will quickly build up a few to check in different directions...

Cheers
Dave.

This ones free, hit the expected 3 hour button, also gives you a 14 day advance but its a guess.

Thanks guys, I found one that gave me the temp at the time, it was 0.3C at 07.15, so I went for it and got my day in.
