i`ve covered everything in loft insulation, just picked up new pump as it froze and blew. Also using a calor gas heater in overnight.
One problem i did have was my ibc tank in the garden was a solid block of ice

When putting your systems together or rebuilding it...think about the hoses and ensure they all are angled to self drain....if the hose doesn't have water in it..it will not freeze.
When I have been building my system I built the cabinate for the r/o system and within the cabinate before the waste and supply water enter/exit the cabinate I fitted ball valves...the hoses that exit/enter from outside all have angles allowing me to shut the ball valves in the cabinate and then draining the remaining water from the hoses.
Be safe.
