Hi

A slight dusting down here in Paradise (Brighton 8))

Looks like north sussex has had it quite bad, loads of trains out of Victoria cancelled and some flights out of Gatwick closed, they closed  runway. Some schools closed (bunch of wimps, when i was a lad we just got on with it)

Bit chilly with the wind chill, if I go out on my bike it feels like my eyes balls have frozen over!

daughter has got the screaming ab dabs because it isn't snowing much and the schools open.

Regards

Martin 8)

I'll stop moaning about the ice then :-X

Fortunately, I don't even have to move the van for this morning's job, I'm cleaning next doors carpets!!!!

When we had really bad snow the other day I actually went round the neighbour's asking if they wanted a bargain basement carpet clean.... I got a job out of it too and it was a proper minger, but it came up like new....

I've booked her in for an oven clean before Christmas too!!!  ;D

I'm the exact opposite. Within 2 days of blizzards, we were worse than last year.

Snowed in the village again - didn't work yesterday or today and can't see me working tomorrow either.

Boiler's packed up and Tesco can't deliver - so no hot water or heating or food, isn't snow great !!

Get some fat lazy arses working for you. What they'll do is jump on any opportunity not to work, snow is always a good opportunity to pull in the excuses.

A viable business is a business that has staff drinking on full pay throughout the day whilst claiming they are stuck in snow. The business takes nothing, and they take the ******* lot. Including the ****.

sympathise will all the badly hit areas as this is how we fared 3 times last winter.... had some snow yesterday about an inch, so not too bad, but estate roads are like skating rinks. Just waiting for the "heavens" to open as all those snow clouds are fast approaching, so will probably be in same boat as most of you later on!  :'(

Pretty bad here in the N.E
After last years fiasco in the Peugot Partner getting stuck, decided to treat myself to a Navara 4x4  ;)

Took this yesterday down a single track road / farmhouse in the middle of nowhere !

No problem !
