sounds great , but if it turns off when water is shut off , what good is it , does it relight itself ?
I'm so lazy I'm getting tired of it !

I may be wrong, But don't L5's turn off when water is off? and then re-ignite on demand?

Thats a bit crap then  ::) I was just having a search around the internet thats all. I am not particually over bothered about the hot water, Its just a way of keeping my van from freezing, But L5's do not have a frost stat anyway do they? So will not help me much. (I cannot use an oil filled rad)

Bloody nightmare, looks like that poseidon one at £900-£950 is the best option then? At least thats fitted price with all the flue and right gas connectors and everything working with frost protection. Its £150-£200 cheaper without fitting.
I dunno what's best, Van is frozen, 900 quid would mean I could work and give me the added benefits of hot water, Or I could just Trad ground floors until weather improves  :-X  If I had a spare grand I would get one fitted in a shot, But unfortunatly I have not, and bloody xmas is nearly here  :'(

peizo ignition,... you have to press a button to light it each time. BAD.

The L5 unit can be bought WITHOUT the 17 minute timer. Contact Geoenergystead direct & as for John Herbert. I'll dig up his e-mail address later.
Mention my name & he'll now exactly what you want.
