should i waterproof or not?

hi,about to buy a transit,its ply lined should i risk it or do i waterproof from the start,i've not kept a van for more than a year but want to use this one till it falls apart, basicly,advice please is it better to waterproof in the summer or now/get rid  of the ply floor?how about lino?would that help

ok point taken,just thinking specialy this time of year howabout some polystyrene underneath the tank?just to keep it warm-ish

You could line the floor with marine ply. ;)

It designed to be used outside with no protection as far as I know.
