What would you do?
« on: November 25, 2010, 11:02:23 pm »
I've got a custie thats said hes going to leave wc money under his front door mat for last two weeks but never did. Hes been a good custie for over 3 years I cleaned his pub £25 and his house £20. He always paid or someone at pub did. I found out last week that he'd sold the pub to some Thai people that were going to do food there and a few days later he texed me and said he was moving house on Tuesday and money would be under mat on Monday. Well no money again.
Anyway I knew he had a letting agency in Birmingham and last night I found the address on computer.
So would you go up there and confront him or phone up and ask him for money?

I'd phone him.  Maybe he's just been so busy; moving house is stressful.

What? Stereotyping slightly perhaps?

His customer isn't even Thai if you bothered to read his post?

What bothers me though is why all the false promises. Hes promised to leave under mat a few times and on one occasion promised to send me a cheque.
Thing is since hes moved he doesnt answer his mobile so I was either thinking about phoning his shop or just turn up there one day. ???

I have had long term customers move on without saying a word, usually owing me 3 months cleaning.
They can be nice as pie to your face, but given a chance to pull a stroke many of them will.

No go on your own, let him know that you now no where he is.
Ask him for payment if there is none send your drinking buddies to visit him then.
