Are any of you chaps using a modular pole specifically with a van mount set-up as apposed to a trolley, back pack or bucket?

If so, how do you go about managing your pole sections when it comes to doing the down stairs windows?

Are you pulling a golf trolley around with you?

I’m asking because I’d like to enter the world of ultra light without sacrificing speed, and some of these modular poles are just crazy light.

I do all the up stairs windows then use the top/last section to do all the down stairs windows,I slide the sections I'm not using back inside each other and lean them next to a drain pipe or against trolley or in their porch.Try not to lay them on the floor or you'll step on them,lost sections due to treading on them.It takes me about 5 seconds to dismantle the pole.As for lightness pick up with one finger.Good alternative to a tele pole and height the sky the limit

We used fishing poles for a long time. They are in 5 sections, the 5 section attached to the bush is long enough for bottoms and I leave the remaining 4 sections in 2 pieces and I store them that way in the van as well.
Tops all round first then discard excess poles on garden lawn far enough away to not stand on them, (usually the front as we start at the back) then collect them up at the end on the way back. Still use them as they are so light and rigid but now mainly use a Gardiners CLX as the first choice as its easier.

Jeff, I have a converted Xcede Power 1000 fishing pole  that weighs 1.15 Kg at 27ft 11in (pole only).

Did your locking mechanism add that much weight or was that with the brush ect?

I have a Jeff Pole. It is worth the money. Needs improving but is worth the money as a spare long pole, . I would buy one again and I have used it for 2 weeks.
