Thanks again Richard.

I Have around £2000 But that is for everything from scratch. I have a fiat doblo van but only have half of that in space for equipment (hope that makes sense ). so a compact machine with good vacuum. Plus need to produce very good results. I am in no massive rush to do loads of jobs at speed at the moment. This will be a new start up.
I will go on some courses. And do a job the best i can

Thanks Paul

You can get a SteamPro from Prochem for under £2k or there abouts

http://www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/Prochem_Steempro_2000.html

They are good machines. Also you'll be able to find suppliars for parts and techs for mantiance closer to home for prochem machines as everyone and thier mom's seem to sell them.

Also, remember you'll need other essential bits and bob's to effectively clean carpets so this will eat in to your 2k.

dai rogers has a single vac 130 psi macine for sale on cleantalk, 4 months old but at £750 including hose and tools etc it is a bargain tools are probably worth that alone says it cost him £1850 + when new. if speed and size are not important its a bargain .

Yes the Craftex Grace is quite a good machine for the price new.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Used to have a CFR, great machine but I hope you dont have too many pump problems with all that dirty recycled water passing through.

I've never really understood the logic behind recycling dirty water within a carpet cleaning machine ???

Maybe if you were using/saving 100's, 1000's or millions of litres of water, fair enough....

I am prepared to be enlightened and educated by owners of CFR machines!!!!

Definately saves the bucketing Colin.

I was happy using it on really dirty carpets, pushing dirty water at dirty carpets I was fine with.

I was happy cleaning clean carpets, those looked after, cause I was pushing clan water at clean carpets.

It was the inbetween type of soiling I was not too happy doing it too.

Great machines Ian ...........the one I liked best was the Workstation...........wish I had one right now.
Main thing is to keep the filters clear while working or you will quickly lose vacuum power.
